I grew up in silver mining town of Taxco, Mexico, and my parents sent me to the frigid climes of the Chicago area for secondary school and college.  I fled the Great Lakes winters and returned to Mexico, joining the global advertising agency J. Walter Thompson.  Based in Mexico City and covering Latin America, I developed international ad campaigns for over a decade, working with DDB, Y&R, McCann Erickson and my own creative shop.  I moved to California near the turn of Century to join the booming Spanish-language marketing communications industry, relocating to Newport Beach.  In recent years, I gravitated from Fortune 500 clients to social marketing.

I was the Hispanic Creative Director for The Network for a Healthy California’s Champions for Change campaign, developing and producing award-winning television, radio and print messages targeting low income Hispanics.
